Survived work..just!

Time for Flip Out Wandsworth, such a great night with the gals, an hour of bouncing, throwing myself into foam pits and imagining I was five again…oh wait cue the stiffness – the major disadvantage of in fact being twenty five!

Hump day, thank god, feel like I am literally army crawling through this week! Work, well let’s not talk about that…netball, got beat, probably got frostbite too!

Ended up at Clapham Picturehouse to see Manchester by the Sea, highly recommend it, especially if you just need a good cry!

It’s official the January blues have hit, work is quite frankly shitty and it’s not even close to Friday yet! As a grad I suppose you expect the get the odd jobs but it’s the being made to feel like dirt on the bottom of a shoe I could live without! So yeah, I ain’t no Stretch Armstrong and there is only five days in the working week, unfortunately I ain’t trained as a magician to just make three reports and 190 plans appear from thin air.

Moving on, I eventually made the pub quiz, pretty late but I made it and yeah screw dry January a pint and a laugh was just what I needed! To top things off we even got a top three finish, scrapping into third position called for celebratory pints!

Monday, yuck, January please just hurry up and end! Post work gym trip, turns out the guy next to me on the treadmill was some kind of reality TV star, so to all those taking sneaky pictures, unfortunately for you, you have a very sweaty me in the background!

Zumba, I mean when the hour long sound track is simply a Sean Paul mashup it would be rude not to!

Sunday, funday continues, Boris biking from Clapham to Greenwich (15km)! Super fun, the only issue, London roundabouts whilst on a bike, scarier than The Shining! But we all made it in one piece, one small issue, there are no docking stations in Greenwich, so we made an unexpected visit via the foot tunnel to the Isle of Dogs to find a docking point! Turns out Borris Bikes aren’t a big thing over there, three docking stations later, we eventually found one with spaces ha!

We returned to Greenwich for tea, I mean we deserved it after that. Ended up in the Gypsy Moth, the steak and ale pie is an absolute delight (I would highly recommend).

My Saturdays are so sosphicated now, well they are when I eventually pull myself out of bed ha! Hit up the gym, experienced my first ever spin class with the lights on, not a fan, no one else needs to see the sweat that drips from my nose!

Friends, chit chat, enchiladas and processo, how did it get to 1:30am!

Friday, thank god! Work always seems to drag when you have somewhere exciting to be!

Text received at 4pm and it was off to Gingerline, Chamber of Flavour, after eventually finding the secret location, we were transported through five parallel dining realities! By far one of the most enjoyable/exciting experiences yet! I mean I was eating foods I had never even heard it! But that is all I can say…keep the secret!

It was back to reality with a bump, when we hit up Shoreditch though £8 for a single vodka and mixer, WTF?!?
